The PhaedraCabaret

Tasty cocktail of jazz standards and storytelling. Tragedy with a twist…

Presented by LynchPin Productions Theatre Company Ltd and Guildford Fringe Theatre Company

Doors 8pm, Tickets: £14 (£12 concessions) fees apply

It’s one for my baby and one more for the road in this cocktail of jazz standards and storytelling. Tragedy, with a twist…

Filled with songs, including Mad About the Boy, You’re Getting to Be a Habit with Me, Fever and many more made famous by legendary jazz divas such as Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and of course Peggy Lee.

The play creates a sultry tapestry of love’s eternal struggle with passion, addiction, choice and fate.
Phaedra is one of the classic tragic heroines of Greek theatre, but you’ve not heard her story like this before, complete with a twist at the end. It’s a classic tragedy backed up by some classy jazz standards and tasty cocktails.

Written by Jack Lynch (Emily Dickinson & I; Cloning Mary Shelley; Consider This…) with Pippa Winslow (The Phantom of the Opera, The Sound of Music, Hairspray) as ‘Fey’ and James Shannon on jazz guitar.

Jasta 11 Gigs and Concerts Presents

Something a little bit different as we present a super chilled out evening of music featuring brilliant up and coming Bristol duo MEADOWLARK
Delicate, emotional, yet powerful songs, delivered beautifully from the minds of two incredible songwriters. Meadowlark are nothing short of outstanding. Spine tingling live performances, not to be missed!
Meadowlark's debut single ‘Eyes Wide’ in 2015 was added to BBC Radio 1’s Introducing playlist, XFM’s evening playlist and featured on Hype Machine’s Top 20. This lead to sessions on Dermot O’Leary’s BBC Radio 2 show, playing Glastonbury’s Introducing stage, as well as the Great Escape, MAMA festival in Paris, Dot to Dot (to name but a few!) This song also appeared on episodes of Vampire Diaries and Made in Chelsea.

In 2016 Meadowlark were embraced into the UK touring circuit to support the release of their 2nd EP ‘Paraffin’, and then later with their incredibly well received most recent single ‘Headlights’. Alongside this the band had another successful festival season which we are excited to build upon in 2017. Their summer Bushstock performance received a glowing review from Popped Music who said “their vocals never ever miss a note and you could hear a pin drop”.

With their debut album set for release later this year through Believe Records campaign, 2017 is already shaping up to be the best yet for Meadowlark.

Support comes from Guildford hree piece ME AND THE MOON who have been building their profile with apearances at Southsea Fest 2016, Victorious Festival 2016, and Blissfields 2016.

Opening the evening will be Guildford alt-folk five piece SLEEPY FOLK

For those of you that were disappointed that our January show for the mighty ALLUSONDRUGS show was cancelled..rejoice!!!! We have rescheduled and Fri 30th June is the new date for your diaries!

ALLUSONDRUGS are a five-piece from Castleford, Yorkshire. Relentless touring and their very individual take on psych pop grunge (think Nirvana with a 70s twist!) has caught the eyes and ears of the likes of Kerrang, Radio One, NME and Rock Sound, as well as audiences across the UK. Late 2014 / early 2015 has seen the band building a solid live fan-base following high-profile support tours with Enter Shikari, Marmozets and Lonely The Brave, and further touring only sees the buzz continuing to build.

The band released a self titled mini album in 2014 and have also released a few singles including "Am I Weird" and "Sunset Yellow"

Support comes from Guildford four piece ICARUS DIVE, and Farnborough alt desert rock two piece SILENT MODE

Advance Tickets £6.50 from and (18+ only)
